Williams lake/Wheeler Peak

One of the most beautiful hikes! Start by parking at the Bavarian and follow signs for Williams lake up 1.9 miles to ... well you guessed it, Williams Lake! If you are feel really adventurous keep going up to Wheeler Peak. Just make sure to watch the weather and be prepared!

hot springs

There are a couple along the Rio Grande River, but one (Manby) in particular is right by the house (within walking distance)!

Also, Ojo Caliente Mineral Springs are located between Santa Fe and Taos and is an awesome spot to stop along the way!

White Water Rafting

Cool off in the summer time with an awesome river rafting guide through the Rio Grande Gorge Canyons! Feel free to take it easy or if you are looking for something difficult go down a class V!

Right down the street from the house, this is a must see! Look down into the Rio from 200 meters!
